School Fund
The School Fund boosts government support and helps raise vital funds to ensure a learning environment that is fit-for-purpose. Christ’s School relies on your generosity more than ever to ensure that our students can benefit from a first class learning environment.
How to donate
We gratefully receive all donations, however big or small. Regular and larger donations enable us to make longer term, more ambitious plans whilst smaller, one-off donations help with one-off projects for the school. The suggested contribution is per month per child.
Our School Fund is an exempt charity registered for Gift Aid with HMRC. If you are a UK tax payer, ticking the gift aid box will enable us to claim a further 25 pence per £1 back in tax.
Where your contributions have made a difference
The School Fund has made it possible for the school to upgrade our buildings and facilities as well as purchase additional equipment:
- re-roofing of part of main school building (jointly with the Diocese);
- a new minibus;
- new long jump facility;
- theatre-quality lighting and sound in all our main hall spaces
- refurbished toilet facilities in the main block
- Site-wide fire door installations and upgrades
- Improving student safety by the main reception area.
Future plans
- re-roofing of the remainder of the main school building (jointly with the Diocese);
- Additional bike parking
- Additional staff workspaces for when their usual classrooms are in use
- Emotional regulation room
We are also looking into non-premises-related restricted fundraising via the School Fund for school sports scholarships and Sixth Form centres of Excellence in STEM and Basketball.
